Glacier Springs Water System Repair Notice: Please conserve water Mon 8/11-Wed 8/13!

Dear GSPOA and Glacier Green Property Owners,
We will be doing some emergency work at the spring boxes Monday, August 11, 2025 through Wednesday, August 13, 2025. There has been erosion on the side of the spring box that has exposed a vulnerability and needs to be repaired before the rainy season sets in.
We will be diverting water from the storage tanks while the work is ongoing. We anticipate there will be enough water during the work cycle.  We ask that you please conserve water next week. Please hold off on outdoor watering, filling in spas/hot tubs, laundry and other non-essential water uses until we let you know the work is finalized.

Please click here for a Washington Department of Health Stop Water Waste Brochure for suggestions on how to conserve water.

This is also a reminder that Glacier Springs Water System PWS ID# 27755 and Glacier Green remain under a Boil Water Advisory. DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST. Bring all water to a rolling boil for 1 minute and let it cool before using. Boiled or purchased bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
Thank you.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: GSPOA Water System still on Boil Water Advisory

Dear GSPOA and Glacier Green Property Owners,
We received verbal notification this afternoon that from our routine testing of the water system, trace amounts of coliform and E. Coli were found in samples taken on Monday, 5/19/2025.  We will do a second sampling tomorrow, 5/22 but will not know those results until 5/23.  We will let you know when we receive them.  You can view the water test results on our website here when we receive them: https://glaciersprings.org/water-system-test-results/.

I’m attaching a document which is available from the Department of Health that explains what E. Coli is and how to remediate by boiling drinking water or using plain household bleach, as well as providing some generally information on coliform bacteria/E. Coli.
